Rottweiler and Great Pyrenees playing in the snow. My Rottweiler provides with leadership he can trust and respect without resorting to anger or physical force. Otherwise, he’ll take the role of top dog for himself. With a dog as powerful and intelligent as the Rottweiler, this is a recipe for disaster. My Rottweiler are not temperamentally unsound or inherently vicious. Well-bred, well-socialized Rotties are playful, gentle, and loving to their families. They are easy to train if treated with respect and make great companions.

First video of the boys playing in the snow – it’s a little blair witch project choppy at some parts, but overall not too awful… My video skills could definitely use some work.

Sarge is the 2 year old German Rottweiler – I think he’s about 94 lbs. Kodiak is our baby Great Pyrenees, only 11 months old and still growing – he’s over 100 lbs, but I’m not sure what his exact weight is.They love playing in the snow, and in the end I try to show off some of their training, although somehow the audio got messed up and I’m not very good at video editing yet.
